Cwenga Mayekiso is a sociologist with a Master’s degree in Sociology and a current PhD candidate. He serves as a Research Assistant at Walter Sisulu University, focusing on socio-economic challenges in South Africa. His research interests include unemployment, underemployment, inequality, and economic policy in post-apartheid contexts.He has published several peer-reviewed articles on topics such as corporate influence on democracy, trade liberalisation, constitutional rights, and rural unemployment. His work appears in journals including Insights into Regional Development and the International Journal of Research in Business and Social Science.His research aims to inform policy and promote inclusive socio-economic development.
