Kingsford Gyasi Amakye is a lecturer in the Department of Community Development Studies at the University for Development Studies, where he also coordinates the Gender and Development Studies program. He previously worked as the Head of the Languages Department at Presbyterian Senior High School. Amakye holds a BA in Political Science with Linguistics, an MPhil in Development Studies, and a Diploma in Education. He is an associate member of the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS) and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. His research interests include community development, governance, and development communication, and he has experience in coaching and counselling.
