Pravina Pillay currently works as an Associate Professor in the Department of English Studies at the University of South Africa. She does research in English Language Education, Cultural Studies and Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. She also serves as Chairperson of the National Research Foundation Thuthuka Panel and the Competitive Programme for Rated Researchers.
