Editorial Policy
* Authors should ensure they strictly adhere to these article guidelines set by the Editorial Team before submitting their articles for publication.
- Articles should be submitted on or before the assigned submission deadline for each publication.
- Each article should be submitted through the Noyam online submission form.
- Authors should download the article submission template to serve as a guide.
- The first page of the article should contain the title of the article title, full name(s) of author(s) and an abstract.
- JELT accepts research articles that have not been previously published and are not simultaneously being considered for publication elsewhere.
- The maximum length of articles is between 3,000 and 6,000 words.
- Articles must include an abstract of about 150 words summarizing the main points of the article, including the methodology used.
- The Chicago Style of Referencing, 17th Edition MUST BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED.
- Articles must be double-spaced, with footnotes and bibliographical references. Titled tables and captioned figures must be professionally done and legibly cited in the text.
- Papers not thoroughly proofread WILL BE REJECTED.
- Computer-generated bibliography is not accepted.
- All articles are subject to peer-review and copy editing before publication.
- JELT supports the use of gender-inclusive language.
- The publication of an article in JELT implies the assignment of copyright to its author(s). All published research articles are open access published under a CC BY license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited and leaves the copyright of the article with the current copyright holder (the author).
